She gave us some pasalubong from Cagayan de Oro City (Thank you very much!). The kids got drawing materials and they enjoyed the presents. Now, the reward was reversed, they got their "stars" first (pasted on their hands), then they drew something for us. Michael draw Ate Bebing's portrait (I have to get a photo of that drawing!) while Aurens draw a dinosaur for Lola (seen in this photo taken by Ate Bebing). The colored pens has a special white marker which turns other colors into a different one. I hope Lola Mercedes will like Aurens's masterpiece.

At home, Aurens took the camera. He has been practicing photography since last month (note, he can put that in his resume: Photography - since the age of 4!). Here's Yaya Langlang, his favorite model, posing for him. I also pasted another one which Aurens took last month. NOw, it's a fulfillment of my pledge to put Yaya Langlang online hoping to get some Pen Friends (Email Pals?). She wants to marry a foreigner!!! Can you help her? (I hope I am not violating any human rights here... hehehe!). Her email address is [irene.beltran@gmail.com]. She is from our town (Mainit, Surigao del Norte) and she has finished her first year college in Elementary Education. We hope to send her to UP (Information Technology) this second semester. I tell you, we are so lucky to have Yaya Langlang, a very bright, charming, and hard-working girl. Scholarship offers are also welcome (hehehe!).

While Aurens was busy taking pictures, our other angel, Michael, was busy eating. And so Aurens took a picture of him with Mama Teng! Look at how he enjoys the Black Sambo dessert! Wait, our dear friend Roland, before leaving for Alkhobar, KSA, last month, prepared a Black Sambo for us. It is a two layer jelly made of milk (white, lower part) and chocolate (black, upper part). we liked it so miuch so we asked for its recipe. Mama Teng prepared the white part, while I did the black part. Accidentally, Mama Teng poured all the jelly in the white part leaving nothing for my piece. We ended up having a pseudo Black Sambo... a white jelly with chocolate sauce (hehehe!). Well, no regrets, everyone here liked it... especially our food-loving Michael!
