Bath...

Now, it is part of our daily routine to prepare for the kids for school and fetching them. Well, aside from tutoring them, my most enjoyed moment is giving them a bath.

They hate showers... they don't probably like tiny droplets pinning their eyes and skin, ergo, we use the tabo (dipper) system. They have to be bathed at the same time, otherwise, one won't go to bath. They used to have their own kiddie shampoo but we find that adult shampoos make their hair shinier and smoother (I hope this is okay!). We also use adult's body soap for them, except for their faces. We retained the one prescribed by their pedia. Michael's face is easily irritated by adult soaps.

They still have to outgrow the habit of bringing toys in the bathroom. So one will always find toys in there... of which, at times, looks scary. Imagine a large tarantula toy in the toilet before you put on the lights!

They take their bath at least twice a day... at 11AM before going to school and just before bedtime, around 12 midnight! When it is hot, we also bath them after school, just before they take their afternoon nap.

Bathing kids at midnight is a no-no here in the Philippines especially in the rural areas. But, if you don't give Aurens and Michael their midnight bath, they can go on staying awake till morning.
