* Since 1993, he had been involved with various international and local agencies e.g. The Population Council, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Chemonics International, Research Institute for Mindanao Culture (RIMCU), Asia Partnership for Human Development (APHD), etc, in a number of capacities such as Consultant, Research Associate, Programme Specialist, Research and Evaluation Specialist, Project Coordinator, and Assistant Program Manager
* He is a Social Researcher and a Development Planner with multiple interests including:
*** Population, Health and Research (Medical Demography, Demographic Modeling, Sociology, Epidemiology, HIV and AIDS, Family Planning, Adolescent Reproductive Health, Tuberculosis, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Survey Research)
*** Information Technology, Communications and Arts (Bioinformatics, Development Communication, Graphics Design, Digital Photography, Web Development, Fine Arts)
* Currently a member of the Board of Trustees (and a founding member) of Mainit DOT Org (MDO), a Civil Society affiliated with the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). Has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Population Association (PPA) from 2002 to 2004.
