Going on...

Thanks for the comments on the previous post. When I blogged about it, I was actually on a workshop (Religion, Gender, and Sexuality) which was full of gender-sensitivity topics. My co-participants had mixed reactions.

Anyway, no, we won't be transferring our kids to another school. What the school can't provide, we as parents should provide. It may entail extra time but I think it would be worth it. Besides, transferring schools here in Metro Manila is not easy. Although... we are constinuously scouting for other "good" schools that will fit to our criteria (good christian formation, budget, and distance). Any suggestions?

We don't see the "very good" stamps daily. So whenever, the kids get these, we feel really great! Yesterday, Aurens got another one. In fact, last Friday, he got a different one... two stars without no label (is it very good or super dooper very good?). We still have to know what's the difference between the stamps.

Now, the issue is how to handle when one gets a stamp while the other does not. We are not sure if we did it right. Here's a snapshot of our style:
Papa/Mama: Wow, kiss and hugs to Aurens for getting another very good stamp!
Aurens: Kiss, kiss, kiss, hugs, hugs, hugs.
Papa/Mama: Wow, kiss and hugs to Michael because you will get very good stamps tomorrow, diba!
Michael: Kiss, kiss, kiss, hugs, hugs, hugs.

Ay, kahirap man gud uruy!
