First day of school

Aurens in his best smile...

Michael in good mood.

Michael and Aurens showing their best assets to Papa. (Hehehe)

June 13 was the kids' first day of school because June 12 was legal holiday (Independence Day). It was hard to tell Michael not to be with Aurens because he belongs to the Nursery and Aurens to the Kinder 1 class. Michael's teacher, Teacher Emmy, reported to us that in the middle of the class, Michael went to Aurens room and stayed there for around 30 mins.

By the way, they go to St. Jerome Learning School. The school was named after St. Jerome because it was founded on the day of its Feast Day - September 30. Can you remember what is special on that day? Yes, it is my BIRTHDAY! Is this meant to be or this is meant to be? Hahaha!

Teacher Bing of Aurens notes in his diary that he needs to practice writing his name and observe the Red and Blue lines. We did practice last night and the six sheets of names was perfectly in order... with every bit of flow over the lines erased and corrected. In the end, Aurens tells me that he does better than me. By the way, we have to let him use LAWRENCE P. MOSENDE only because his real name runs a kilometer long and the pad paper can't accommodate it... John Lawrence Anthony Palabrica Mosende. The teacher even says that her school record is short enough for the name.

Hmmm... we are still thinking whether to teach Michael his short name or the complete Dilion Michelangelo Palabrica Mosende. Gee, these may either break or make them. But based on experience, my long name has taught me to write fast and accurate... and excel in all subjects. I am sure they too will make their own names in the academic world. God bless!
