Double celebration, grooming kit, etcetera!

Being a father is a blessing, indeed! I am enjoying my fatherhood. Well, Teng (Mama) and I are enjoying parenthood.

We brought the kids again to school today (Monday). I can't explain my feelings while I was dressing them up for school. It's a very nice feeling. I can't help but remember how Daddy and Mommy used to dress me as well. I miss them!

At school, I peeped at Aurens' room (not allowed) and was so happy to see the kid so well behaved and happily exchanging notes with his seatmate about their favorite cartoon characters. For whatever reason, Aurens like to be called Flash while Michael the Batman. And know what... Mama is Hawkgirl while Papa is the Green Lantern. Whew, this is the Justice League family. Wait till we talk about the Xmen Family... guess who is Wolverine?

Their classes start at 1pm everyday. At 12:30 when we were ready to leave the house, gee, I remember that Aurens needs to bring his grooming kit. It was the only reminder in his diary. God, I tell you, it was a feat to complete the list! Hmmm... all of us were very busy yesterday and last saturday (excuses, anyone?)... preparing for the double celebration: Teng's birthday and Father's Day.

As you can see in the photos below, the Kids completed Mama's BIRTHDAY CARDS (read aloud!) by coloring the letters and drawing their favorite animals for Mama. The 10 o'clock mass at the Transfiguration Chapel (Cubao, QC) also had a special blessing for Father's Day. At the end of the celebration, all fathers were gathered at the altar and were given a special blessing and gifts. Yes, I got a rosary and a St. Joseph prayer pamphlet as a gift (I'll take a photo and post it here later).
